School Days School days...Happy Mom and Dad days!

The Day Has Come: School Has Begun!!
Even though the kids look like they are in a prison line up, they all were pretty excited to go to school today!

Here is Joseph looking for the bus....Riding the bus is what he looked foward to most!

. The long awaited school year is here!!! All FOUR kids in school together. What a sight! With Christian, Jacob and Luke at Joesph's side, I felt no anexity that my new little kindergarten won't find his way to his class. I cannot believe that Christian is starting his last year in Elmentary school. Joseph and Christian sat together in the front row on the bus the kindergarten and 5th grader...perfect. My Jacob and my Luke, had huge smiles as the bus drove away.

With the boys gone...what was a mom to do? Well I ENJOYED more than I should! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY!!!! Miss J and I did our chores, did a little shopping and had lunch with Dad. The slient car ride was simply breathtaking, and no one complained that we went to five stores. What a day! And we get to do it all over again tomorrow?! Ah...life is good!

Day one...down...only hundred and eighty to go...

Let the Games Begin!!!

8.08.08
The games begin...

WOW!!!! What a show! The best opening cerimonines the world as known. Period.

(It makes Salt Lakes opening look a little like a ward roadshow!)

Some adjectives that describe last night show are:

AWESOME, Spectacular!, Moving, CREATIVE, Precise, Chinese, INCREDIBLE, Beauitful....

The drummers were my favorite performers, all 2008 of them.
Just to be there...I bet seeing it live, would be rocking!

To honor the Games, we had our own Olympic Ceromony!
Jacob was our torch bearer...it looks like our flame is not eternal!
All the competitors getting ready to race...This one included striking "two fashion posies"
James and Joesph kicked it up for the Gynmastic competion!

Luke and Jenna took gold in this super cool game.

The Medal Count:
Kotters: 5 Jordans: 6
Hightlight of the night: The food!
We had lots of fun cooking Hot Dogs and S'mores over an open fire!

Now we just have to go sleep deprived for the next 17 days to watch the world at its best!

the dawn has broken...

I dedicate this blog to V. Bayless...with out her I would just have read the books, not obessed about them...and I dedicate it to Muse...
Whoa...Nelly what a cra-az-y book! What a ride...did I love it?
Maybe....she did answer all the pressing questions...so I am happy!

I, in my need to know WHAT WILL HAPPEN!!,I ran to Barnes and Noble at midnight Saturday Aug. 2nd, with my sister Summer. We were a little more ehhmm..older than most. I am sure the more respectable ladies waited until Saturday morning to buy the book. The midnight party was a hoot and I am glad we went! (Thanks Summer, would not have gone w/out you!)
I read the whole book straight, way past the break of dawn. I got no sleep on Saturday, but it was worth it. Chris your the best to let your wife run with some Vampires for a night.
So do I recommend jumping into theTwilight Universe?
...well they made me feel a little like seventeen again...
Why not, break away from nornal reading and go discover how lovable vampires are!
